#16

CNY eve spent in kl, eating the last meal of the year by KL's "Chinatown" says father. Dinner was accompanied by free fireworks. Only something you get in Malaysia, we didn't even need to queue nor squeeze. Just sat comfortably munching away~ The heart of KL is actually very similar to SG, brightly lit streets with shopping malls everywhere.

Back to hotel to chill after a day of travelling. Woke up considerably early on 初一 morning and managed to navigate successfully to visit granny after brunch. Left after awhile when she felt tired and wanted to sleep. And so we managed to reach JB just about dinner time.

四大天王

Sharkfin Soup

Cereal Prawn

Finally did something to my craving for liu sha bao ^^

Thai Style Pig Trotters.

And it was a whopping bill of RM170 haha.

初二 was spent lazing round at home in the morning before we managed to drag ourselves out for lunch and a movie. Everything was sold out or in canto (-.-) so we only had I, Frankenstein or Robocop for choices. And I won bro in scissors paper stone so I, Frankenstein was it! Father picked us up after dinner and we went for prata after that. And in a span of 10 minutes, we managed to catch 3 fireworks :D and many more throughout the meal. Free show me likely.

My blackie growing so huge, he's almost reaching my height when he stands on his hind feet ): But this huge guy is terrified of fire crackers and fireworks. It's kinda funny yet heartbreaking at the same time to see him so terrified )': Then again, kinda angsty how he never stops licking me when I'm in the carpark and so whiny when nobody plays with him. He just sits outside the door and whine until either 1 of us can't take it anymore and decides to accompany him. Poor soul must be so lonely since 小白 is no longer there as his companion ): It's okay, lonely kids will grow up stronger, you will be fine )':

Yet to go visiting in sg but I'm already so tired )):

#15 First Week of Year 2 Sem 2

School officially started but I'm still in holiday mood. Spent the first week of school as if it's still the holidays omg. Guilty, but hey, time spent with friends are priceless. :')

JB trip to dye Anna's hair. Thanks to lz for coming down just to be our security guard hahahah

Met up with some of the 33rds after the trip! Such spontaneity I think can only be found in these council friends. Only when we met did I really know who are the ones turning up hahah. And venue was only decided like 1 hour before we met! The best plans are the unplanned, truly. Huiyang also very spontaneously treated us dinner at pizza hut and dessert at marble slab because sign on kids are so damn rich. Jaw dropped when I heard his pay. I want it too!!!

Oh and yes, I booked our flight to BKK just because scoot was having a promotion! What an exciting day :)

Went JB again the very next day for seafood *yumzzzzzz* Met the guys at causeway and we crossed the customs ourselves. Went City Square before we decided to cab to KSL because noob me has never been there. But it was a very wasted trip because there's absolutely nothing there! City square is much better! Only thing was that I managed to try the bear paw bun at only RM 7.90! C commented that it's a gimmick that no one would fall for. But.......... I........ did......... -.- Okay whatever, but there's really nothing special about the bun except for it's cuteness after trying it.

Took a cab from the same cab driver who drove us to KSL, but this time was 6 people in a cab to Senibong, haaaaaaaa it was rather torturous because it was much mooooorrrrreee further. Cab driver was friendly though and shared with us his life story. Like wow, but we couldn't determine how much truth it contains.

Had dinner at Permas Seafood Village. Came back and checked online and their ratings were not bad though! Spent about RM 350 in total which amounted to about SDG$24 per person.

Hokkien Mee with Crab Meat

Pineapple Fried Rice

Mussles

Sambal Kang Kong

Hotplate Tofu

Fried Butter Prawns

Steamed Fish

Fried Ice Cream

Won't say it's like amazingly delicious. But the fried butter praws were really good! Fried so well that we just ate it with it's shells. Fish was fresh and mussles were relatively large. But for the price we paid it was definitely worth it.

Same cab driver gave a mini tour of the duty free area which I never knew existed before sending us to the customs. Paid RM120 for the 2 trips which we felt was a little steep but when converted back to SGD, it's only about $8/person, so yes still rather cheap.

And today, my boy officially drove for the first time! Hahaha so proud of him for being able to pass when almost everyone fail under that instructor. Congratulations! May you be able to drive like a pro soon!

Last day to chill tomorrow and it's time to really start studying for the sem especially when every core is so difficult! Lesigh )):
