"tis the season to be jolly!"
So happy that Christmas is finally here!!!
Heard this first during Christmas Service but Pentatonix's version is so so much better!!!
2 days of Christmas Celebration starts here!!!
Buffet Lunch on 23/12 at The Square @ Furama.
I think this tops the list of the most expensive meal we ever had!
$55++ per person but there's the 1 for 1 credit card promotion so we paid $64.75 in total for 2. Expected more variety for such pricing and a hotel buffet but mehhhhh.
I was basically stuffing myself with salmon sashimi, boiled prawns, cereal crayfish and ribeye.
We ate so much sashimi till we were saying we can stop eating sashimi for the next 6 months.
But I realized I was so terribly wrong because I didn't mind having some sashimi the very next day!
I guess this shows that salmon sashimi is my one true love ♥
Deserts weren't too bad according to C because they had the vanilla sauce for their Chocolate Cake Pudding (?) and some crumble cake which was constantly empty LOL so I guess it's really good. Didn't like the creme brulee though but I was so happy that there's eclaire! So bloated at the end but it was raining so it spoiled our remaining plan to go Orchard and Gardens by the Bay and we just went straight back to hall.
Next day was the trip to S.E.A Aquarium since we managed to get cheap tickets! :D
The original ticket price of $38 is such a scam!
We finished the place even faster than River Safari and could be even faster if not for the Christmas Eve crowd.
I rather spend my money on something else that can last me a full day or at least half a day.
Didn't take much photos either since I don't appreciate fishes as much as bears/lions/horses unless you're talking about salmon sashimi hahahaha!
This thing actually moves but rather lame show really. Not even educational.
This stingray is damn cute instead of swimming like other stingrays it prefers to blob up and down. We went round the aquarium twice and both times it was doing the same thing.
Watching jellyfish blob up and down can be rather therapeutic surprisingly.
Off to Gardens by the Bay after dinner.
It was drizzling when we reached and I was so sad ):
Have wanted to come here ever since exam ended and it actually rained when I finally came???
C was like saying "you wanna just go?" and I interpreted it as go home instead and I felt pretty sad ): But he actually meant just proceed with plan despite the rain.
And so we braved the drizzle (which eventually became lighter) to where the Spalliere is.
It is so damn chioooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, even better on camera!
Even though the so called snow was foam but it was quite an experience.
Being in the Spalliere during Blizzard Time (Fake snow blizzard LOL) despite the rain and muddy patches was rather magical I will say.
Merry Merry Christmas!!!! (:
